Pervez Hoodbhoy appointed on UN dis-armament board
Renowned Pakistani scientist Pervez Hoodbhoy has been appointed as member advisory board on dis-armament matters. He is member of nine member board which includes members from Jordan, Korea, Ghana, Philippines and Korea. UN secretary general Ban Ki Moon has confirmed his appointment. Members of advisory board are selected on the basis their personal profiles and cannot represent their governments. Dis-armament board members are appointed for three years.
Pervez Hoodbhoy is a renowned Pakistani nuclear physicist, defense analyst and columnist. Currently he is associated with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).
